Dr. DuRant joined BJH as a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner and certified nurse-midwife in November 2015. She is originally from Charleston, SC. She worked as a registered nurse until 2000. She then became a nurse practitioner where she practiced in a rural clinic and taught as a professor at West Virginia University. She then moved to Beaufort, SC in 2010 and has practiced as a certified nurse-practitioner and nurse midwife to date.
