Dr. Smith joined BJHCHS in 2008 as a board certified pediatrician. She is a Beaufort native and previously was in private practice for 8 years in Columbia, SC. Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Tulane University Medical Center in the Department of Pediatrics.  She has been Board Certified since 1997.  She is the mother of two children and enjoys running, scuba diving, baking, and spending time with her family and pets.
