Mrs. Lee joined BJHCHS as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2022. She was born and raised near Hampton, South Carolina, where she currently resides with her family. She attended the University of South Carolina Beaufort in Bluffton, South Carolina, from 2007 until 2012. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she worked briefly at Beaufort Memorial Hospital before returning to Hampton to work as a nurse at Harrison Peeples Healthcare center where she worked as Dr. Neal Shealy’s nurse until 2015. In 2015, she went to work as a nurse at the Federal Correctional Institute in Estill, South Carolina and worked there until August of 2021 when she resigned to finish her Masters of Science in Nursing. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, Georgia, in September 2021. She is excited to pursue a career in her local community with BJHCHS. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband and their four children.
