A home grown native of the Low-Country, whom many regards as passionate about her career in healthcare. She is an accomplished Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the health care arena. Her journey in nursing started at the age of 17 where she worked as a Care Team Tech in the Emergency Department at Aiken Regional Medical Center while obtaining her Bachelors of Science and Nursing from the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2006. She has since worked in multiple areas as a critical care nurse at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD, and at both the Medical University of South Carolina and Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC. Her dedication and love for nursing later inspired her to obtain her Doctoral Degree in 2017, graduating with honors from the University of South Carolina Columbia. She has 5 years’ experience working with Community Health Centers in both South Carolina and North Carolina. She’s returned back to her home land, as her dreams were to always come back home to provide exceptional healthcare service(s) to the people in her community.
